I paint and draw the things that bring me joy and the imagery that helps me find a sense of peace. I am largely influenced by the vast forests and mountains of my childhood, where woodland creatures outnumber those of the human variety.
The portraits and personalities that take shape under my pen and paintbrush evoke in me a sense of nostalgia and that of a commonality--of universally shared emotional spaces and fondly remembered narratives.
I would like to make my work accessible to all who connect with and enjoy it, so my goal is to offer it in a number of different formats, including prints, greeting cards and stickers. I believe that everyone should have access to artwork that they find beautiful and moving.
