Northern Flicker Print
The Northern Flicker is a kind of woodpecker that I remember fondly from my childhood. It earns its name from it's vibrantly colored tail, which "flickers" as it flies through the snowy woods.
I had quite a bit of fun with this painting using white and metallic inks & a bit of collage from my fancy-paper-scrap collection.
