Brown Pelican - Greeting Card

Brown pelicans (ok all pelicans really) are one of my favorite birds! How can they be so goofy and stately at the same time?! I painted this one with a ice plant flower and the Golden Gate Bridge.

I made this painting with watercolor, ink and gouache on tea toned paper and titled it: "On a Warm Day".
